Our Mission
The Foundation for Leadership Education’s (FLE) primary objectives are to implement and promote educational curriculum which can be adopted by all schools in Beaufort County, that will provide a foundation in values and skills from which students are empowered to lead themselves and others in a way that creates positive change. FLE also proudly maintains the Lowcountry Lifetime Achievement Awards program and the Lighthouse Scholarship award.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP spotlight:
The Foundation for Leadership Education is proudly partnering with Boys and Girls Club of the Lowcountry to bring the Maxwell Foundation’s iLead KIDS leadership curriculum to over 350 students in grades Kindergarten - 5th, in four local public schools in Beaufort County
